We’re re-opening!

We’re happy to announce that we’re reopening our studio for a limited number of weekly group Reformer classes from Tuesday the 30th June.
Ohhh we cannot wait. We’ve so missed moving with you all!
And while we’re so excited to be reopening, it must also be said that we are still far from business as usual at Glow. We appreciate your support, understanding, patience and cooperation as we do what’s necessary to keep our fledgling business afloat and to provide you with the safest, most supportive Pilates service we can offer.
Please know that your safety is our top priority.
Read on for more about updates policies and procedures at Glow, for few business updates and some housekeeping:
  • We’re reopening with an updated timetable, and our timetable is subject to continued change for the foreseeable future as we navigate new territory, with new priorities and new needs — both for you as our clients and for our business. We appreciate your patience, understanding and cooperation with this.
  • We’ve removed a Reformer so that we could increase the spacing between our remaining Reformers to help us all maintain social distancing. We ask for your cooperation with maintaining your physical distance with one another while in-studio while maneuvering around the Reformers before, during and after classes.
  • Socks are now required (grippy/sticky or otherwise). You must wear clean socks for all in-studio sessions.
  • As of August 2020, masks are required to be worn while in-studio. This is to keep our clients as well as us teachers safe. Exceptions to this policy can be made for specific medical reasons, so please speak to us if you are unable to wear a mask for medical reason.
  • You will be required to either thoroughly wash your hands and/or use hand sanitiser provided upon entering the studio. Single-use hand towels are provided for drying your hands after washing.
  • There is now increased time between group classes to allow for us teachers to further clean down equipment, door handles, light switches, etc. between sessions.
  • We have a new ‘arrival and departure’ process. It’s been implemented to help maintain sanitary conditions and to avoid congregating in certain areas of the studio. This will be explained to you in-studio over the weeks and months ahead. But in brief, we’ve spread/repositioned the shoe and coat drop area and changed the procedure for picking up your post-class cleaning supplies.
  • Coming and going. Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes prior to your class time as you’ll have to wait outside the studio doors if you arrive earlier than that. Also, please plan to leave the studio promptly after your session. This is to help keep spaciousness in the studio and to avoid crowding and congregating in entrance and reception areas as well as to give us teachers time for further clean-down mentioned above. We look forward to the day when we can go back to having lingering chats before and after our Pilates sessions, but in the meantime, we need your help to keep things running efficiently in terms of social distancing in our studio space.
  • Expired class bundles/passes will be extended through the end of the year. While it’s not feasible for us to preemptively extend expiry dates for our many, many clients, if you’ve noticed your bundle has expired during our temporary closure, simply send us a text on 0867900433 and we’ll sort it out.
Who’s excited for some feet in straps?!
Much gratitude from us to you for your continued support over the past few challenging months. Here’s to getting back to that ‘move well, be well’ kind of Pilates we so love.
See you soon!
